Who we are?
The team’s leader is Johnny, a high school student from Shenzhen, China. He helps Afghan women students to get English education through free online courses. He wants to share the empowering stories of some of his students and encourage more women living under oppression or deprivation of rights to stand up and fight for equity.
What do we share?
We share empowering stories of Afghan women. Some of them still live in Kabul and witness the deteriorating human rights crisis in Afghanistan under Taliban; some of them fled Taliban’s persecution for publicly advocating for women’s rights in Kabul and now received protection and refuge from Western countries like Portugal and Germany.
How can you help?
We hope our readers can share our website and the stories of these amazing Afghan women through all sorts of social media. We hope more people could read about what lives are like from the perspectives of these Afghan women and understand the serious human rights crisis that they are facing in their motherland.
